婚約！
今日は特別な一日だった。
弟の婚約式、婚約パーティーがあった。
婚約といっても、ヨルダンではもう９５％結婚しているといっても。
そうだ。弟が結婚の道を歩んでしまった。
今日は両家族の偉い人が集めて、花嫁さんの家族の家に行って、婚約を発表するための「ジャーハ」という儀式があった。
出番はまったくないが、しょうがなく（！）私も顔を出しました。（あたり前だろう！）
花嫁さんの家族は親切な人で、弟も両親も喜んでいる。
良かった、良かった！

Today was a special day!
My little brother "wrote his book" today.
went to the Jaha, but was the proverbial " Atrash bil zaffeh".
The bride's family are good, decent people and my brother is happy.
I wish him all the best. He deserves it.
