Nikon announces the D700 Mid range full frame DSLR, kidneys all around the world weep!!
Nikon dropped a bombshell today with the announcement of the rumored mid range Full frame FX format D700 DSLR. Readers of my previous post on the D300 might have noted the Oooh! factor of my experience with the D300 hands-on!
Well to say it kindly, the D700 kicks the D300 in the balls.
Adding on the excellent features of the D300, the D700 goes full frame to give an experience similar to shooting with 35mm Film cameras in a compact Semi-affordable package. (if you consider $2999 as affordable)

No point actually for this post as most of us mortals can only dream of handling a D700, yet I can't help it!
Now we wait in patience for Canon's EOS 5D MKII offering that is suposed to go against theD700! Something I found great about the D700 is that it accepts all kinds of Full frame and Crop lenses. Now if Canon would just make a Full frame body that can accept EF and EF-S lenses then many a Canon fan will be enthralled.

You know what? They should make a horror movie called Cameraman starring Edward Norton as you, about a camera man who steals his victims kidneys to upgrade his camera. True story.

Of course the first victim of this manic photographer is an unsuspecting student of Japanese called Samer that wakes up to find his kidney and the left pinky missing!
The manic photographer's trademark scary sound will be a DSLR shutter sound!
