Great sword do you really own it. Because I love Japanese swords, I wish you have another additional pictures.
Amazing details! I can see how the steel was shaped! Hoho!
Well to be accurate it is not steel but zinc-aluminum alloy.
The sharper eyed viewer will notice oil droplets on the blade. Although not ncessary because it is not steel, chouji oil gives out a nice scent and it is good to get into the habit of oiling the blade for maintenance and protection against rust.
Oh yeah, I meant metal. It's an iaido sword after all. Right?
