What 1474MP of photgraphic detail gives you!!
This is a 1474-megapixel panoramic view of the inauguration ceremony of president Barack Obama last week. One cannot imagine the amount of effort needed to cover such an event. But David Bergman's 1474-megapixel Panorma takes the cake for the awesomest ever effort! Using a chain of 220 Canon G10s no less!!

This is the Red Box!Being myself, my eyes went straight away to the photogarphers platform where all the press photographers were freezing their shutter fingers off in a -5 degree weather (on an elevated platform with wind chill, I think they were press popsickles) and started counting the Canon EOS-1Ds and Nikon D3's everybody was setting up to take the picture of the year! Saw some lonely 5D MKIIs in there as well.
